Viewing the Schedule

Step 1:
Whilst in the build overview, if you click the grey "schedule" tab you will be taken to the overview of the scheduling.

It is here that you can input tasks, view your schedule in calendar or gantt format, and keep track of your milestones.

Step 2:
To view your build in gantt or calendar format simply click on the “show gantt” or “show calendar” buttons.

Calendar format

The calendar view provides you with a monthly view of what’s happening. The tasks are colour coded so it is easy to see at a glance what is happening, and what’s completed etc.

Gantt format

The gantt chart view is more content comprehensive, but still uses the same colour coding as the calendar. Using a gantt chart give you a bigger picture of the timeline of your build.

Whilst using the gantt chart you can scroll through time using your mouse. Simply hover your mouse cursor over the gantt grid, scrolling your mouse up and down with move the timeline left and right. When you hover your mouse over the names allocated to tasks then you can scroll up and down again. If you are using a tablet or touch device, your fingers work as per normal.

There are two types of gantt formats, the one above or a “page wise gantt”. They are mostly the same, but depending on the device you are using one may be more suitable than the other. The main difference is the tool bar at the bottom of the “page wise gantt”.

You still scroll through the grid of the gantt as per usual, however to scroll down through people you click the up or down button.

Step 3:

Clicking on the “milestones” button will take you to a gantt chart that shows only the milestones you are working towards and ones that you have completed, rather than the regular gantt chart that will show all tasks.
